Sunday School – Jesus Enters Jerusalem on Palm Sunday

Spring arrives this weekend!  That means Easter is getting closer.  Over the next few weeks will will prepare for Easter by learning about events that happened shortly before Easter.  This week we learn about Jesus riding into Jerusalem on a donkey.  That day is referred to as Palm Sunday.  We do not actually celebrate Palm Sunday until the end of this month, but we will learn about it this week.

Sunday School – Mary and Martha

Do you have busy days?  Maybe you need to study for a spelling test, make your bed, go to soccer practice, play with your friends, go to school, help your parents around the house, make a card to wish your grandma happy birthday, and read a Bible story.  That is a lot for one kid to do.  In this week’s real life, true story we hear what happened when Jesus went to the house of two sisters.  During that visit, he tells Mary, Martha and all of us what is most important.  Maybe your day is so busy that you need to skip doing somethings you planned to do, but there is one thing you should never skip.  Watch the video to learn about that important thing.

Sunday School – Parable of the Unforgiving Servant

Has someone hurt your feelings?  What do you do if they say “I’m sorry, forgive me”?  If that same person broke your favorite toy and then said “forgive me”, what do you say?  If that same person tripped you and said forgive me, do you forgive them?  This week Jesus uses another parable to teach the people.  He was asked “How many times should I forgive someone?”  Jesus uses the parable to teach about forgiveness.
