• In the spring of 1987, the LORD moved four families from St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids to approach the Wisconsin Synod Mission Board. They offered to fund a call for a missionary to explore the possibility of starting a church south of Wisconsin Rapids in the Town of Saratoga area.

• Pastor Bell left in July 1991. Reverend Keith Free of Divine Word, Plover, served as vacancy pastor.
• Work began on the parsonage in the fall of 1991.
• Pastor Paul Tullberg was installed on January 19, 1992.
• In April, 1992, St. Paul’s congregation in Wisconsin Rapids stopped assessing tuition for use of their Christian Day School. Good Shepherd joyfully and freely gave a gift to St. Paul’s for the privilege of making use of their day school.
• Good Shepherd ended mission status and became fully self-supporting in July of 1992.
• The parsonage was dedicated in the fall of 1992.
• Good Shepherd joined with St. Paul’s and Divine Word to form a joint school board in 1998.
• The addition of a new sanctuary and classrooms were dedicated in 1999.
• In 2005, Good Shepherd Lutheran School opened a one room school for grades 1 – 8.
• In 2009, live streaming of worship services began.
• In 2017, a 3K program was opened.
