VBS Summer 2012March 6, 2012VBS, VideoWe’re on an Amazing Desert Journey this summer in VBS! Each day the children will learn about God’s love and how He provides for their lives now and in eternity through Jesus, His Son, our Savior! Registration is open for ages 3-12 who will attend VBS from July 9th to 13th, 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Kids meet friends, explore Bible stories, do activities, sing songs, make crafts, play games, and eat snacks. We expect a great response, so enroll your child today. To register, give the form in the bulletin to an usher, or call Sherri at (715)254-2121, or register online at our secure site. We need you! Through the dedication of our members and friends who volunteer at VBS, we share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to 50 children each year. If you aren’t part of VBS yet, why not call today? Education NewsMarch 22, 2007Education, VBS Vacation Bible School- Before you know it the school year will be over, the summer will be in full swing, and we will be busy spreading the wonderful message to children through our Vacation Bible School program. If you are interested in contributing in any way to this ministry, please speak with either Donna Tullberg or Jan Savagian as soon as possible. There are many positions that need to be filled in order to make this years VBS a success. We are currently in need of: five teaching teams, Jr. leaders, individuals to help with crafts and snacks, and so much more. We guarantee if you want to help, we will find the perfect job for you to do. Thank you to all who will be donating their time to help spread the wonderful message to our school age members and children throughout the community.2O07 – 2008 School Enrollment- Once again it is the time of year to start thinking about the next school year. Good Shepherd Lutheran School will be having its first graduating class this spring! That means our school will have two openings for the 2007 – 2008 school year. If any family from our church is considering enrolling their child or children in our school, please contact Donna Tullberg or Roger Deglow as soon as possible. |
