February Youth Group News
Hello Everyone, I would like to keep you posted as to what we are doing in our youth group. Just recently we got together to talk about what things the group would like to do in the future. We were able to get a lot of good ideas from everyone who attended the meeting. We have already released the flamingo flock out of the storage shed and they flew over to Kim Shepard’s house for her birthday. Kim and Alan have since then adopted Chester the Flamingo. We are happy that Chester has a new Mommy and Daddy. If anyone in the congregation would like to meet the flock or would like to release the flock to a friend or relative, please contact me or one of our youth to give you the details.
On Wednesday, February 27th we will be hosting the Lenten service. Please have your son or daughter here by 4:30 to help set up tables and get food ready. If you have questions please contact me.
Our next group event will be on Sunday March 9th at church. We will be having game night. One of the games will be the Nintendo Wii on the big screen in front of church. It should be fun. We have a sign up sheet on the youth bulletin board, for our sandwich bar. Please sign up if you can bring something.
I hope we can have a big turnout for the events coming up. Please remember that your friends are welcome to attend. The more youth involved the better.
